1st Friday Art Walks: Show Openings, great music & artist receptions occur the evening of the 1st Friday of each month, 6-9 pm. Seven galleries participate. We have live music, and in the summer, demonstrations out front in our demo shelter where we've had glass blowing, wood turning, water color painting, jewelry making, lost wax sculpting,  plein aire painting, characature drawing, and more. A dozen nearby restaurant are open until late as well. These are wonderful experiences for all.

Creations Gallery of Fine Art and Gifts anchors the north entrance to the burgeoning Louisville Historic Down Town Art and Restaurant District located midway between Boulder and Denver. This turn-of-the-century miner's cottage is now a modern show space exhibiting 70 of Colorado's best regional artists. Owners, Vickey Swenson (who curates the gallery & teaches classes) and Tom Parsons (who paints the walls and does 'stuff'), create a welcoming place for all who come by.

The picket fence and the gallery dog lounging on the front porch signal to shoppers and seasoned patrons alike that the gallery is browser-friendly. Once inside, the bright and modern gallery displays a wide variety of exceptional art and surprises those accustomed to big city prices. Come ... see for yourself. Not only browser friendly, we are also bowser friendly. There is a tie up, water and poop-bag station for visiting dogs to enjoy while their custodians browse inside.
